     Sengkaling Recreation Park is one of the holiday spots in Malang visited by both domestic and foreign tourist. The visitors are ranging from various groups: children, teenagers, collaege students, and even the publick. itss location is very strategic, close to University of Muhammadiyah Malang and located right on the highway connectingMalang and Batu. it is easy to reach. Sengkaling recreation park was first established by a Dutch named Mr. Coolman in 1950. Since 1975, the recreation park has been managed by PT. Bentoel Park of Bentoel Group. On May 1, 2013, University of Muhammadiyah Malang took over the park and becomes the largest shareholder of this recreation park.

     During the initial operation, Sengkaling Recreation park is built only for employees of Bentoel Group. Yet along with it's development, Sengkaling resreation Park is finally open for  public. This Recreation Park has a total area of approximately 9 hactares. it has numbers of facilities including various types of rides and pools. its competetive advantage is water attraction in which all of the water comes from natural resources.

     To join Sengkaling Food Festival, the visitors have to "top up" the voucher. visitors have to pay any food purchased with the minimal amount of IDR 50.000 which can be refilled within one-year-perioud. When the voucher reaches the due date, visitors must buy new voucher for only IDR 5.000. The voucher validity period is one year, so visitors can continue to use the voucher by topping up vouchers. Students of University of Muhammadiyah Malang are given the privilege of granting an additional 10%  charge on each voucher. By showing student's ID cards, students will also get free-parking facility.

     Food festival is very suitable for those who wish to hang out with friends at nights. Visitors can also take advantage of existing spots to play such as carousel and golf cart, take picture, and enjoy the shady weather of Malang. The lights were as well designed to beautfy the Sengkaling Recreation Park. The cvisitors are not only guaranteed for delicious food but also beautiful scenery and good atmosphere. Sengkaling Recreation Park always tries to be the best tourist destination in the city. by way for which, the recreation park adds various types of rides, games, and education spots; and also improving service, and its entertainment quality.
